On June 10, 2022, Canadian musician Justin Bieber broadcast a video on Instagram in which he informed his followers that he had facial paralysis.
“Hello everyone, Justin here, I just wanted to give you an update on what’s been going on.” In his video, he stated.
“Obviously, as you can probably see by my expression. I have Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which is caused by a virus that destroys the nerves in my ear and facial nerves, causing paralysis in my face.”
“So, for people who are irritated by my cancellations for the next gigs, I’m just physically unable of doing them; as you can see, this is rather severe.” He went on. “I wish this wasn’t the case, but my body is telling me I need to slow down, and I hope you understand.”
Justin resumed his tour in mid-February this year after a two-year hiatus due to the epidemic. And he was scheduled to appear in a couple more cities in the United States. His final show before embarking on his Europe tour was slated for Inglewood, California.
Bieber ended his video by claiming he’d be staying home for a while to get back to normal.
“I adore you two. Thank you for your patience, and I promise to improve. I’m doing all of these facial exercises to get my face back to normal, and it will go back to normal.”
A week later, his wife, Hailey Bieber, appeared on Good Morning America and assured fans that Justin was OK and there was no reason to be concerned.
“He’s doing great and getting better by the day.” He’s feeling much better now. Obviously, it was a really terrifying and strange event to occur, but he’ll be alright, and I’m just thankful that he’s fine.”
“Everyone has offered good wishes, advice, and recommendations, and it’s been really fantastic,” she continued.
Bieber’s diagnosis comes on the heels of Hailey’s own health issues – the 25-year-old model had a mini-stroke in March.
“I feel a lot better now that the thing is over.” I’m in a nice mood. I underwent surgery to close the hole in my heart, and now I’m simply allowing my body time to rest and recuperate. It was difficult for me to recuperate following the treatment, just giving myself time to work out again and feel normal.”
The ‘Love Yourself’ singer was photographed smiling while on vacation with his wife Hailey in Idaho, US, yesterday. The pair was joined by Usher, Jason Kennedy, and his partner Lauren Scruggs.
According to the Daily Mail, the pair was spotted laughing and having fun with their pals, and Justin was well, indicating that his condition had improved.
Hailey looked lovely in a blue bikini top and matching trousers, while the 28-year-old singer chose brilliant yellow shorts.
According to the site, it is clear from the photos that Bieber is feeling much better, as he is shown having fun with his wife and pals.
